The objective of this project is to improve the quality of care for people with FEP, by documenting the feasibility of implementing a rapid learning system (RLS) in several FEP intervention programs (FEPP) in Quebec and its acceptability. The design, implementation and evaluation of this SARPEP involved all the key actors (clinicians, service users and their families, researchers, decision-makers, MSSS, and the Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des programmes de premier \u00e9pisode (AQPPEP)) at all stages. The project also aims to evaluate the impact of SARPEP on the care trajectory and user satisfaction with the services received, compliance with the essential components of FEPP and decision-making at the local and provincial levels. <\/p>\n

Ultimately, SARPEP aims to increase the capacity of Quebec’s FEPPs to provide evidence-based care, monitor their performance, set targets for improvement, make decisions at local and provincial levels, and develop collaborative learning and multi-party and inter-clinic interactions.<\/p>\n

The Research Professional – Responsible for the scientific component of the project will work closely with Dr. Amal Abdel-Baki and the other principal researchers (Srividya Iyer, Annie LeBlanc, Manuela Ferrari, and Marc-Andr\u00e9 Roy), other members of the existing research team, and various partners<\/p>\n

A group of researchers in youth mental health and early psychosis at the Douglas Research Centre (affiliated with McGill University) and the Centre hospitalier de l’Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM) invites candidates interested in acquiring expertise and making a significant contribution to research projects focusing on youth mental health, early intervention in mental health and the innovative research approaches and methods associated with these fields to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship.<\/p>\n

The program is based on advanced services and knowledge transfer (KT) platforms, such as ACCESS Open Minds, a pan-Canadian youth mental health network (CIHR-SPOR) and SARPEP, a Quebec-wide learning health system of early intervention services for psychoses; and integrated clinical research programs such as the JAP Clinic and the Early Intervention and Prevention of Psychoses Program (PEPP). It also maintains connections with a number of key initiatives in the field of early intervention and youth mental health (e.g. Aire ouverte, Quebec’s integrated youth services initiative; working groups on clinical staging and stepped care; etc.).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
